Basketball Champions League: l'Orlandina Basket al Club Marketing Workshop

La Basketball Champions League ha ospitato oggi alla House of Basketball di Mies (Svizzera) il primo Club Marketing Workshop: 20 club partecipanti sono stati rappresentati, compresa l’Orlandina Basket con il suo Direttore Marketing Giovanni Russo.

I lavori sono stati introdotti dal CEO della Basketball Champions League, Patrick Comninos: “Per noi è un grande piacere dare il benvenuto a Miesa questa prima edizione del Club Marketing Workshop. L’obiettivo principale di un evento come questo è quello di uniformare i nostri club a livello operativo, di sponsoring e commerciale in questa nostra seconda stagione, ma anche di presentare tutti i servizi di media e comunicazione offerti alle squadre. Questo genere di incontri fa parte di uno sforzo su più larga scala per permettere alla nostra comunità di crescere, acquisire esperienza e sviluppare insieme la competizione“.
“Rappresentare l’Orlandina Basket al ‘Club Marketing Workshop’ della Basketball Champions League è stata una grandissima occasione formativa e di confronto con tutti i top team europei che vi partecipano“, ha detto Giovanni Russo.
“Abbiamo affrontato le tematiche sul marketing generale ma anche i progetti speciali per migliorare l’esperienza dei tifosi, delle scuole, delle famiglie e delle attività di social media, merchandising e ticketing in vista della conclusione della stagione in corso ed in programmazione della prossima. La soddisfazione più grande è stata quella di vedere la nostra Capo d’Orlando seduta al tavolo dell’Europa che conta. E questo deve avere per tutti noi addetti ai lavori, tifosi orlandini e siciliani un valore enorme”.

Orlandina Basket attended the first-ever Basketball Champions League Club Marketing Workshop
The Basketball Champions League hosted its first-ever Club Marketing Workshop on Wednesday at the House of Basketball in Mies, Switzerland. Orlandina Basket was represented by the Marketing Director, M. Giovanni Russo, together with the representatives from other 19 clubs.
“It is a great pleasure to welcome our participating clubs here in Mies for the first-ever Club Marketing Workshop“, said Patrick Comninos, CEO of the Basketball Champions League. “The main objectives of such workshop are to align all stakeholders on operational, sponsoring and commercial aspects for this second season of the competition, but also to present all media and communication services offered to our clubs. This type of meeting is part of a larger effort to grow our community, gain experience and develop the competition together“.
“Representing Orlandina Basket at the Basketball Champions League ‘Club Marketing Workshop’ was a great opportunity to meet and share experiences and ideas with all the other European top teams participating to the competition”, Giovanni Russo said. “We talked about general marketing but also on how to improve the fan experience and engagement among kids, schools, families, and we also shared our views on social media, merchandising and ticketing strategies for this season and on to the next one. The biggest satisfaction on us is to see our Capo d’Orlando as a legitimate member at the European high level. This has to be a great value to us, to our fans in Capo d’Orlando and the whole Sicily“.
