Proviene dal campionato di Serie A2, dove giocava con l’Agribertocchi Orzinuovi insieme al nostro Arturs Strautins, segnando 21.8 punti con il 46% da due, il 47% da tre e il 90% ai liberi, aggiungendo 3.5 rimbalzi e 2.2 recuperi in 35.3 minuti a partita.
Smith, uscito da Georgia Tech nel 2016 (15.0 punti, 2.3 rimbalzi, 1.9 assist da senior), ha giocato in Italia nella passata stagione, portando i colori di Roseto (Serie A2) segnando 23.6 punti con il 46.1% dal campo (41.5% da tre) e l’86.8% ai liberi con 3.0 rimbalzi e 2.3 in 37 partite tra regular season e playoff.
Ha iniziato la stagione attuale con i campioni di Francia dell’Elan Chalon, incrociando anche le strade dell’Orlandina in Basketball Champions League (25 punti, 7 rimbalzi e 8 assist nel successo dei francesi per 67-55 lo scorso 17 ottobre), passando in seguito dai turchi del Socar Petkimspor (17.5 punti, 2.3 assist, 2.0 rimbalzi) e quindi il ritorno in Italia a Orzinuovi, dove ha disputato 8 partite.

He finished his NCAA career with Georgia Tech in 2016 (15.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists on his senior season), he spent his rookie year with Roseto in the Italian Serie A2, scoring 23.6 points with 46.1% on field goals (41.5% on three points) and 86.8% on free throws, plus 3.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 37 games between regular season and playoffs.
Smith started this season with the French defending champion Elan Chalon, crossing our path in the Basketball Champions League (25 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists in their victory against us last October 17th), before playing in Turkey with Socar Petkimspor (17.5 points, 2.3 assists, 2.0 rebounds per game) and with Orzinuovi, where he played 8 games.
